Talan, owned by Robert Smith and Pennie Cornish, is a very exciting stallion with masses of potential.  He is quality through and through with amazing ability as demonstrated at top class international competitions in 2010, including the World Equestrian Games.
Having won the seven year old Championship in Valkenswaard in 2007, Talan impressed with his performance in the Grand Prix in the 2008 Spanish Sunshine Tour where he finished second with other numerous placings and a win in other classes there. 

Talan followed this up in May by winning the 7&8 year old class in Hamburg and was second in the Accumulator in Madrid. 
Since then his career has gone from strength to strength in top international competitions around the world.  In 2010, he achieved 2nd in the prestigious King George V Gold Cup at =3rd in the challenging Hickstead Derby, and further afield was placed fifth in the famous $1,000,000 Calgary Grand Prix before heading off to Kentucky for the World Equestrian Games where he and Robert were the highest placed British show jumping combination.
